"ILI.DA", the voluntary blood donation group of the employees of HELIOS Pasta and DAKOS MILLS, successfully held the 6th Voluntary Blood Donation
With the message of the action "I give blood, I care and I share", the volunteers - employees, their family members and friends gathered for a common purpose, to help their fellow human beings in need. Thanks to the significant turnout, a large substantial amount of blood units were collected.
The social sensitivity and solidarity of HELIOS and DAKOS MILLS employees promote the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility and volunteerism. Through their efforts, they support society and highlight the importance of contributing to the common good with an emphasis on improving the quality of life for all.
Highlights
"ILI.DA." is the Voluntary Blood Donation Group of the employees of HELIOS Pasta Industry and DAKOS MILLS and was created in 2021. In cooperation with the Blood Donation Service of the General Hospital "Sismanoglio - Amalia Fleming" has organized 6 voluntary blood donations to date, at the industrial facilities of the companies, contributing actively to people and society by collecting a significant number of blood units. The employees of the two companies and their friends, who participate in the voluntary actions of "ILI.DA.", are members of a community based on collective contribution and solidarity with their fellow man, and at the same time enjoy all the privileges of a blood donor.
